Professional Equality Index

As every year, companies with more than 50 employees publish their gender equality index on equal pay on March 1st.

In accordance with decree No. 2019-15 of January 8, 2019, the index must be calculated based on 4 to 5 indicators (depending on the size of the company). It gives a score out of 100 points.

This index calculation methodology is intended to measure gaps according to indicators defined by the decree of January 8, 2019, which implements provisions aimed at eliminating the gender pay gap within the company.

Each company must achieve at least 75/100. If the result is below this, companies are required to take actions to correct the excessive gender pay gap.

For the year 2024, SDEC France has an overall score of 89 points, broken down as follows:

  • Pay gap between women and men : 31 points out of 40
  • Gap in individual salary increases between women and men : 35 points out of 35
  • Percentage of female employees returning from maternity leave who received a raise upon their return: Not calculable, as no employee returned from maternity leave in 2024
  • Number of underrepresented gender employees among the 10 highest-paid employees : 10 points out of 10

This score confirms that the policies implemented, particularly in the area of salaries, have had a positive impact and encourage us to continue our efforts to promote professional equality between women and men.
